Fusion Core (pre-order)
Kit includes:
Assembled fusion core
All relevant bolts
1x M20 cable gland
2x M6 cable glands/M6 bolts
1x Goretex Breathe patch
2x printed multi-core for M20 cable glands
1x XT-60W waterproof plug set
1x Julet 6 pin connector set
The Fusion Core allows a VESC Controller to be mounted inside the axle of floatwheels Cannoncore motor. This allows for massive split packs and extremely powerful onewheel builds when used with a Sym and Battery casing.
The Fusion Core is intended to fit the XR frame format, and is hence compatible with XR Rails and GT to XR Hub adapters for GT builds, using 5/16 UNC threads.
The mount pattern matches the Thor 300, Jetfleet F6 and the Ennoid Mk8 Regular and Pro. Using the Mk8 pro requires the internal cable gland of the cannoncore motor to be removed. Using the Jetfleet F6 requires some careful removal of plastic from the edge of its piezo-electric buzzer using a sharp knife (the round plastic black cylinder on the top pcb).
The multi-core gland is printed with soft TPE 75a and fits three 4.5mm cables. This allows for two 12awg soft silicon positive and negative battery cables and one Julet 6 pin data cable to exit the cable gland separately.
The two power cables can run to an XT-60W plug, which can be easily disconnected for tyre changes, then reconnected using the VOW XT-60 pre-charger.
This product requires a large amount of DIY, and requires lots of planning and foresight to be constructed effectively.
